Surreal comedy starring award-winning British comedian, author and TV presenter Harry Hill. Featuring machine gun-toting chickens and a terminally ill hamster, the film follows Harry and his Nan (Julie Walters) as they travel to Blackpool while being pursued by a mentally unstable veterinarian (Simon Bird). While on the journey, the pair are met with a whole host of other weird and wonderful characters including Harry's long-lost twin Otto (Matt Lucas) and Michelle (Sheridan Smith), an underwater shell person.

Dr Mabuse (Rudolph Klein-Rogge) is a sinister and mesmerising criminal with the ability to worm his way into the confidences of the rich and influential, and wield his power over men and women alike. He builds up a deadly gang of counterfeiters, thieves and murderers who will do anything for him, and aims to gain control of the stock market through his hypnotic methods of theft and blackmail. His dastardly methods are so successful that he is gradually taking over the whole of Berlin... until he comes up against the plodding and methodical Detective Wrenk, whose subconscious seems to be less easily won over.

Collection of four comedies following the Griswold family's vacations. In 'National Lampoon's Vacation' (1983), the West Coast Wally World theme park is the Griswold's holiday destination, and they intend to drive there cross-country all the way from their Chicago home. Father Clark (Chevy Chase) has planned the trip down to its last detail, but the trouble begins as soon as they hit the road. In 'National Lampoon's European Vacation' (1985), the family win a holiday to Europe. Contrary to their expectations, however, it is not a luxurious, all-expenses-paid kind of trip, but rather a cut-price, economy deal which takes them to some of the Old World's seedier locations. Of course, it's not long before they are caught up in all manner of misadventures. In 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation' (1989), the Griswolds decide to spend the Christmas season at home. Needless to say, it is not as quiet as they had planned. Finally, in 'Vegas Vacation' (1997), the clan head for the gleaming lights of Las Vegas. Unfortunately, Clark is soon transformed into a compulsive gambler, daughter Audrey (Marisol Nichols) becomes an exotic dancer and son Rusty (Ethan Embry) begins posing as a suave high roller.

Judy Garland stars in Vincente Minnelli's classic musical following the middle-class Smith family in the lead up to the 1904 World's Fair hosted in St Louis. Esther (Garland), the second eldest daughter of Alonzo (Leon Ames) and Anna Smith (Mary Astor), falls for her new next door neighbour, John Truitt (Tom Drake), and initially has difficulty winning his affections. When their romance begins to blossom, however, Esther learns that Alonzo's employer is transferring him to New York where he plans to move the family. It soon becomes clear how much the move will affect his four daughters and son, Lon Jr. (Hank Daniels), and, what's more, it means they will miss the World's Fair. The film includes the songs 'Meet Me in St. Louis', 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' and 'The Trolley Song'.

Luc Besson directs this biopic about Burmese pro-democracy activist Aung San Suu Kyi, played in the film by Michelle Yeoh. Suu Kyi spent almost 15 years under house arrest for leading a non-violent uprising against Burma's long-standing military dictatorship. With the unwavering support of her husband, Oxford academic Michael Aris (David Thewlis), Suu Kyi sacrifices the peace and security of family life in England to lead the struggle to bring democracy to her native country, and put an end to the violence, corruption and human rights abuses that have come to characterise Burmese politics.

All three films from director Peter Jackson's blockbuster prequel to 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy. Set in Middle-Earth 60 years before events in 'The Lord of the Rings', 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' (2012) follows the adventures of Hobbit Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), who, at the instigation of the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen), suddenly finds himself co-opted into joining a company of 13 Dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) to help reclaim the Dwarves' lost kingdom of the Lonely Mountain from the clutches of a dragon. After setting out on their quest from the safety of Bag End, the band of travellers soon find themselves pitted against a range of strange and fearsome opponents, in addition to a small, slimy creature known simply as Gollum (Andy Serkis). In 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' (2013), while Gandalf heads south on his own, Bilbo, Thorin and the Dwarves enter the treacherous Mirkwood Forest on their way to the mountain. When they reach Lake-town Bilbo has to perform the role he was assigned at the start of the quest - to find a secret door that will lead him to the lair of Smaug the dragon (voice of Benedict Cumberbatch). In the final instalment, 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' (2014), Bilbo, Thorin and the other Dwarves have unintentionally released Smaug from the Lonely Mountain and endangered the residents of Lake-town. Bilbo has to make a difficult decision when Thorin puts his desire to find the royal jewel Arkenstone before his loyalty to his friends. Meanwhile, Gandalf discovers that the evil Sauron has returned, commanding a horde of Orcs to attack the Lonely Mountain. Bilbo and his friends must fight for their survival as five armies meet in battle. The rest of the cast includes Luke Evans, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly and Christopher Lee.

John Wayne went against the tide of public opinion to both direct and star in a war epic that seeks to justify America's involvement in Vietnam. A commander (Wayne) is sent onto the battlefield to lead a regiment on a mission to kidnap a Vietcong general. As events unfold, a pacifist journalist (David Janssen) covering the sorti is gradually persuaded to accept the justness of the war.

French horror about a couple who have to fight for their lives when an assault on their home turns deadly. The story opens with the murder of two Romanians, a woman and her young daughter, who crash their car along a rural road and are promptly butchered by a shadowy figure. Meanwhile, in Bucharest, schoolteacher Clementine (Olivia Bonamy) climbs into her car and drives to the isolated mansion that she inhabits with partner Lucas (Michael Cohen), not far from the site of the murders. Soon the couple overhears someone stealing their car, but a call to the police accomplishes little. The lovers gradually realise that an outsider is attempting to break into the house with homicidal intent.

Chance (Wayne) is holding a murderous villain in his cell while waiting for a magistrate to collect him for trial. The criminal's associates are desperate to free him and will stop at nothing to achieve their goal... 'How the West Was Won' (1962) traces the fortunes of several generations of an American pioneer family as they move West and cope with the Civil War. The film's several sections were made by different directors, including Henry Hathaway and John Ford. Spencer Tracy narrates, while Henry Fonda, Gregory Peck, James Stewart and John Wayne top the all-star bill.

Matt Damon returns to star as the deadly CIA assassin in this espionage thriller directed by Paul Greengrass. After spending years off the grid, former agent Bourne (Damon) unexpectedly emerges from the shadows in search of more answers surrounding his hazy past. Meanwhile, new CIA Director Robert Dewey (Tommy Lee Jones) is dealing with the fallout following a major cyber-attack, and authorises a new program to hunt down Bourne after he shows up on agency surveillance systems. Desperate to keep one step ahead of his relentless pursuers, Bourne seeks the help of ex-contact Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles), and once again finds himself on the run across the globe and unable to trust anyone. The cast also includes Alicia Vikander, Riz Ahmed and Ato Essandoh.

Action sequel focusing on the underground world of British hooliganism. The film follows undercover, Muslim cop Mo (Simon Rivers) as he infiltrates the hooligans of Shadwell Town Football Club. While he's tasked with investigating their behaviour and uncovering who's really behind the East London group, Mo finds himself increasingly drawn into their violent activities and questioning just how far he's willing to go for the sake of his job.

Action feature starring Linden Ashby and Rutger Hauer. At the Atlanta Olympics, the women's US swimming team are taken hostage by a group of terrorists led by Omodo (Andrew Divoff), who will not release them until their demands are met. When the gang shoot one of the swimmers on live television, the FBI arrange for an anti-terrorist expert (Hauer) to guide former martial arts champion-turned-janitor Jack Bryant (Ashby) in a counter-attack on the insurgents.

Biologist Margo Green (Penelope Ann Miller) teams up with police Lieutenant D'Agosta (Tom Sizemore) to investigate a series of grisly murders at her place of work - the Natural History museum. Can there be a link with the recently-arrived crates belonging to a missing anthropologist from Brazil? All that is found in the crates are some leaves covered with a strange fungus, which when analysed proves capable of mutating whoever eats it. When a guard is killed and a headless body interrupts the museum's exhibition gala, Margo and D'Agosta discover that there is an ancient killer monster on the loose.

Keanu Reeves stars in this dark-tinged romantic comedy. Henry (Reeves) is an unambitious man who sleepwalks his way through life and his dull job at a highway toll booth. His life changes abruptly when he stumbles into the midst of an armed robbery crime scene, is mistaken by police for one of the robbers and is thrown into jail. There he shares a cell with career criminal Max (James Caan), who becomes a mentor of sorts, prompting an epiphany in Henry. On his release, Henry joins forces with Max to commit the crime for which he figures he has already done the time, and becomes romantically entangled with local TV presenter Julie (Vera Farmiga), who literally runs into him at the crime scene.

Spike Jonze directs this award-winning drama following Theodore Twombly (Joaquin Phoenix), a lonely writer who falls in love with a sentient operating system. Newly separated from his wife Catherine (Rooney Mara), Theodore works for a company that composes love letters for those who lack the creativity to pen their own. Growing more and more isolated from the outside world, his curiosity is piqued by a campaign advertising the latest artificially intelligent operating system. When he is first introduced to his new technological assistant Samantha (voice of Scarlett Johansson) he is surprised by her ever-growing emotionality and fresh way of looking at the world. As time passes, Theodore finds himself connecting with Samantha in ways he could never have imagined... The film was nominated for five Academy Awards and won for Best Original Screenplay (Jonze), for which it also received the Golden Globe.

Silent documentary following the 1924 British Mount Everest Expedition during which mountaineers Andrew Irvine and George Mallory met their untimely deaths. The expedition marked the third attempt to make the first ascent of the mountain. It remains under debate whether Irvine and Mallory made it to the summit but they were last seen 800 feet from the top before they disappeared. Mallory's body was discovered in 1999 but Irvine's has never been found. The film was recorded by Captain J.B.L. Noel and captures the progress of the expedition.

Cult horror directed by David Cronenberg. Frank Carveth (Art Hindle)'s wife Nola (Samantha Eggar) is being treated at an institute run by the eccentric psychologist Dr Raglan (Oliver Reed), who is known for using bizarre techniques to break down defensive barriers in the psyche of his patients. After Nola's parents are brutally killed and his daughter returns from a visit to her mother covered in bruises, Frank comes to suspect that his wife and Raglan are up to no good. What he discovers is stranger still: a group of cloned midgets, apparently spurred on by Nora's psychopathic rages, are responsible for the attacks. Since no one else will believe him, it is up to Frank to try and put an end to the violence...

A double bill of action blockbusters. But when one of their number is murdered by adversary Jean Vilain (Jean-Claude Van Damme), the team's quest for revenge finds them pitted against an unexpected rival.

A remake of the 1937 classic, this time as a musical about a Hollywood couple going through bad times. Would-be singer Esther Blodgett (Judy Garland) finds herself taken under the wing of fading star Norman Maine (James Mason) when she saves him from making a drunken fool of himself on stage. Changing her name to Vicki Lester, Esther becomes a star, and is soon married to Norman. However, as Vicki's star rises, so Norman's falls. Harold Arlen/Ira Gershwin songs include 'The Man That Got Away'.
