Getting rich is not just about luck; happiness is not just a trait we are born with. These aspirations may seem out of reach, but building wealth and being happy are skills we can learn.
So what are these skills, and how do we learn them? What are the principles that should guide our efforts? What does progress really look like?
Naval Ravikant is an entrepreneur, philosopher, and investor who has captivated the world with his principles for building wealth and creating long-term happiness. The Almanack of Naval Ravikant is a collection of Naval’s wisdom and experience from the last ten years, shared as a curation of his most insightful interviews and poignant reflections. This isn’t a how-to book, or a step-by-step gimmick. Instead, through Naval’s own words, you will learn how to walk your own unique path toward a happier, wealthier life.
A BOLD NEW VISION FOR A NEW WORLD
Our way of life isn't working anymore. People are losing their
jobs, their homes, their neighborhoods--and even their hope for a
just society. We urgently need a new story to live by, based on
fairness--not simply on the accumulation of wealth and "survival of
the fittest."
"The Bond "offers a radical new blueprint for living a more
harmonious, prosperous, and connected life. International
bestselling author Lynne McTaggart demonstrates with hard science
that we are living contrary to our true nature.
In fact, life doesn't have to be "I win, you lose; "we have been
designed to succeed and prosper when we work as part of a greater
whole. "The Bond "proves that we are weak when we compete, and
thrive only when we cooperate and connect deeply with each other.
In this seminal book for our age, McTaggart also offers a complete
program of practical tools and exercises to help you enjoy closer
relationships--across even the deepest divides--encourage a more
connected workplace, rebuild a united neighborhood, and become a
powerful, global agent of change.
In picking up this book you have just taken the first step towards
discovering that everything about yourself is worth exploring. You
are an amazing complex and exciting being. You already know it is
very necessary to feel well, be healthy and full of vitality. In
Body Mind Connections, a revised and extended edition of Essential
Connections Felicity Mackinnon continues to provide a unique
perspective on the body and its complexities. And especially the
unity of the body and mind. In this beautifully presented book
virtually the whole body is explored giving the broadest view of
how and why the body's functions, processes and emotions and
irrevocably interlinked. the book excellently demonstrates how
these determine our health. It makes compelling reading. This book
is full of valuable insights into the cause and effect of what we
do, think and experience, especially our beliefs about ourselves.
Knowing how and understanding why enables us to help ourselves. Our
emotional responses, reactions, feelings and beliefs all impact on
out body: they are one unit. This is about the true wholeness of
the body which is our complete self. Because our body therefore
carries all our experiences, we need to see that there is so much
more to ill-health than just the physical-autonomous body and its
separate parts holding the symptoms and the illness. Our energy is
the key. Its source, its quality and influence need to be realised,
acknowledged and valued. Therefore easy methods of working on, and
improving it for better health and ways of coping with life's
experiences and relationships, are amply provided here too. You
couldn't do better than have Body Mind Connections as part of your
life and health.
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare - poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a U.S. Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes.
The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force Tactical Air Controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events, inspiring Outside magazine to name him The Fittest (Real) Man in America.
In Can't Hurt Me, he shares his astonishing life story and reveals that most of us tap into only 40% of our capabilities. Goggins calls this The 40% Rule, and his story illuminates a path that anyone can follow to push past pain, demolish fear, and reach their full potential.

Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not
used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad
quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are
images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to
keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the
original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain
imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made
available for future generations to enjoy.
Most people have, at some time in their lifetime, asked themselves:
Why me? What is life all about? What is the meaning and purpose of
life? Why are we here? Why do we need to be here? And many other
similar questions. To date, I am not aware of any authority,
religious or scientific; that has given an adequate and meaningful
answer to these questions. In reality, the answers lie in spirit
evolution, in each individual's spiritual development, and in
reincarnation. For too long populations have lived in ignorance of
true spiritual facts and relied on the words of those with limited
spiritual knowledge. This has led to them being indoctrinated and
controlled by superstition and religious doctrines. The purpose of
this book is to convey in simple layman's language the basic truths
concerning the interrelationship between the human spirit and the
physical body, and to introduce other related subjects. I would
like to think that what you read will trigger a need for you to
investigate further the facts for yourself, so that you can reach
your own conclusions.
Born in the Isle of Man of Irish/Welsh parentage, Noel Stuart
nursed no other ambition than to work with animals. His lifelong
passion for all creatures and his interest in complementary
medicine for humans and non-humans alike combined to culminate in
his eventual choice of career as a veterinary surgeon. Noel's work
both as a vet and his second career as a writer is a rich tapestry
of down-to-earth practice alongside a sense of healing power beyond
science. This is balanced by a great sense of humour running a
sparkling thread through all that he writes. Noel has studied such
unusually diverse directions as dowsing and the effect of ley lines
on cattle. He can claim distinction as being one of the earliest
vets of his generation to treat fish and once had the dubious
experience of counting an alligator as one of his patients! Noel
now enjoys an active semi-retirement in Cornwall. He turns his hand
enthusiastically to a wide range of endeavours from 'lollipop man'
to school governor and Rotarian. He may be found working with the
local writers' group, or travelling the world and being a guru to
his many grandchildren.
This is a book everyone needs to read; a whole new perspective on
how and why the body's functions and its energy shape every aspect
of your life. Our body and emotions together generate the energy
that powers the quality of our lives. Discover how and why that
energy governs our health, the way we act, live, relate, work and
communicate, how and why our day-to-day physical and mental energy
responds to the emotions of our thoughts and experiences, past as
well as present. Understanding this crucial inter-relationship
gives you choices for the way you live and love. It's easy to read,
logical and practical. You can work with it and write in it. You
can refer back to it or dip into it whenever you need information
or an answer. And there are easy tried and tested ways to make the
best of your energy. You can then very simply really begin to take
control of improving your own quality of life, health and vitality.
Your energy is your very own renewable resource to make the most of
your life and opportunities.'
What we know about the Seventh Sense in this day and age in my
experience suggests the mind is the ultimate correspondent between
the past, present & future aspects in the known paranormal
activity my restless mind appears to have move into another level
of enquiries, such as how can we see and hear that which is beyond
the five physical senses and today the six sense I am now concerned
with the seven sense. When the physical mind becomes steady in the
light nothing entering to upset the equilibrium becoming stabilised
time stands still and through this process comes a perceptive
awareness never before envisaged illuminating the mind with
knowledge and wisdom in the natural world the above statement is
called as imagination.
African shamanism teaches that nature is magical, and magic is
natural. After being rescued from a life-threatening encounter with
lions in the Timbavati game region by a sangoma known as the 'Lion
Queen', Linda Tucker embarks on a journey into the mysteries of the
most sacred animal on the African continent: the legendary White
Lion. It is a mystical journey into the knowledge and ceremonies of
Old Africa, in which humans and lions are able to cross the species
barrier - in accordance with the most guarded secrets of Ancient
Egypt and humankind's greatest riddle, the sphinx. It is also a
real living journey. Scientists in our day have established that
humankind's most significant evolutionary leap occurred as a result
of our ancestors' interaction with great cats. The White Lion is a
generic rarity of Panthera leo, and occurred in one region only on
earth: Timbavati. Today White Lions form the centre of the
notorious 'canned' trophy hunting industry - hand reared captive
lions, shot in enclosures for gross money. By contrast, shamans
believe that killing a lion-sun god is the ultimate sacrilege. How
the human species treats such precious symbols of God in nature may
determine how nature treats the human species.
