The second and final of Timothy Dalton's outings as James Bond sees 007 leave Her Majesty's Secret Sevice and branch out on his own. The trouble begins when drug baron Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi) makes an unexpected appearance at the wedding of Felix Leiter (David Hedison), Bond's good friend, leaving the groom maimed and the bride dead. Bond has no choice but to seek his revenge and, with a little help from the obligatory 'Bond girl' (Carey Lowell) and the ever-present Q (Desmond Llewellyn), sets out after the villainous Sanchez. Causing a storm on its release because of its violence and dark plot, the film was originally given an 18 certificate before studio cuts.

Collection of futuristic sci-fi action features directed by Albert Pyun. In 'Nemesis 2 - Nebula' (1995), set 73 years after the events of the first film, cyborgs are now ruling the world and have enslaved the human race. The only hope offered to them is through a team of scientists who claim to have invented a super strain of DNA which will produce a mutant human so powerful it can destroy all robots. However, when the cyborgs discover this threat to their power, they enlist bounty hunter Nebula (Chad Stahelski) to eliminate it. In 'Nemesis 3 - Time Lapse' (1996), Alex (Sue Price) wakes up with amnesia and has to piece together her fractured memories, including the rescue attempt of her sister who has travelled back in time to save her. Finally, In 'Nemesis 4 - Death Angel' (1996), Alex is working as an assassin when she mistakenly kills the son of a major crime boss and is forced to fight for her life after her employer Bernardo (Andrew Divoff) places a 100 million dollar bounty on her head.

'300' (2006), adapted from Frank Miller's comic book series, is a modern retelling of the Battle of Thermopylae of 480 BC, when the 100,000 strong invading Persian Army of King Xerxes was held back in a narrow mountain pass by 300 Spartans. King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) is given four days by Persia's King Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) to lay down his arms and surrender. Rejecting the proposal, the battle ensues, and the Spartans are only defeated by the treachery of local shepherd Ephialtes (Andrew Tiernan), who shows the Persians a secret route, enabling them to outflank their opponents. In the second film, '300: Rise of an Empire' (2014), based on Miller's graphic novel 'Xerxes' and set before, during and after '300', Athenian General Themistocles (Sullivan Stapleton) leads the Greek Army in a war against the invasion of King Xerxes I, naval commander Artemisia (Eva Green) and their Persian forces. Themistocles allies with the Spartans but they are still outnumbered by Xerxes' men. Who will be victorious? The film was co-written by Zack Snyder and Kurt Johnstad and also stars Lena Headey, Jack O'Connell and Hans Matheson.

Robert De Niro and John Travolta star in this action thriller from director Mark Steven Johnson. Emil Kovac (Travolta) is a former Scorpions soldier based in Serbia on the assignment of his career: find and capture Colonel Benjamin Ford (De Niro). Wanted for being a former NATO operative, Ford has now retired from war and lives a reclusive lifestyle in the Appalachian mountains. Determined to finish what his people started, Kovac poses as a friendly European tourist and tracks Ford to his secret hideaway. As Kovac gets all the evidence he needs, he pursues Ford in a brutal game of cat and mouse, intent on bringing him to justice.

Brian Donlevy, Richard Davalos and Sid Haig star in this 1960s action drama about figure-eight track racing from writer/director Jack Hill. Following his arrest, drag racer Rick Bowman (Davalos) is bailed out of jail by promoter Grant Willard (Donlevy) who offers him a sponsorship in figure-eight racing. Bowman accepts and finds himself pitted against the deranged Hawk Sidney (Haig) on the track. Despite faring poorly in his first races, Bowman becomes determined to take over from Sidney's top spot no matter what it costs.

Rambo has withdrawn away from his dangerous life to a simple and secluded existance in Thailand where he spends his time chauffering locals up the river in his old PT boat. Despite trying his best to avoid trouble he is recruited by missionaries who are travelling up river to help the oppressed local people against the brutal rule of the murderous Burmese military. After witnessing a sadistic raid by Major Pa Tee Tint in which many locals are tortured and murdered the missionaries plead with Rambo to help their cause of liberating the survivors. Unable to stay behind he joins with them in what may be his deadliest mission ever.

When former racing driver Brent Magna (Hawke) arrives home to find his wife missing, he is startled by a phone call. Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson reunite for this sixth instalment in the 'Fast and Furious' action thriller franchise, directed by Justin Lin. After their lucrative Rio heist, and unable to return home, Dom (Diesel) and the rest of his compatriots are forced to kill time lying low in different locations around the world. When DSS agent Hobbs offers Dom and his crew full pardons in return for taking down Owen Shaw (Luke Evans)'s gang of mercenary drivers, the offer seems too good to pass. But as the rivals head for a showdown on the streets of London, Dom learns that Shaw's second-in-command is none other than his presumed dead former lover, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez).

A Good Day to Die Hard (2013)

A marine on leave is forced to take on a group of terrorists in this action thriller from director Scott Wiper. As he sets out to track down those responsible, Carter discovers that the group's deranged leader (Neal McDonough) is in the process of implementing a murderous terrorist attack.

Forced into slavery by the corrupt, Incestuous heir to the throne, Roman gerneral Maximus becomes a gladiator.

His prowess in the arena will eventually lead him to Rome, the Colosseum and a vengeful showdown with the new emperor.

Adrien Brody and Lawrence Fishburne star in this sci-fi action sequel to the 1987 film 'Predator'. Produced by Robert Rodriguez, the film follows contract killer Royce (Brody) as he is abducted by alien creatures and released along with seven other professional killers onto a strange and hostile planet. Battling for survival, the group comes across Noland (Fishburne), an American commando who has managed to survive on the planet for several years by hiding out in a cave, and discover to their horror that they have been brought there as prey for a new and merciless race of vicious human-eating alien predators.

Christian Bale reprises his dual role as Bruce Wayne/Batman in this epic conclusion to Christopher Nolan's superhero trilogy. Set eight years on from the events of the 2008 film 'The Dark Knight', the film sees Batman returning to save Gotham City from the evil clutches of brutal terrorist Bane (Tom Hardy) and his enigmatic sidekick, Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway). However, Batman's ability to act as an avenging angel is curtailed by the fact that he is now on Gotham City Police Department's Most Wanted list, having assumed responsibility for the crimes of deceased District Attorney Harvey Dent. The all-star supporting cast includes Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Mackenzie decides to re-route the train to the Cassandra Crossing where it will plunge into oblivion. But passengers miraculously begin to recover and Chamberlain must race against time to disconnect the cars.
