When a New Orleans ferry carrying 500 passengers is destroyed by a bomb, Doug Carling; an FBI agent is drafted in to track down the perpetrator. When a body is found floating in the river, it is determined that the victim was murdered before the ferry blast occurred.

Unfortunately, the victim was the impossibly beautiful Claire Kuchever, whose death has begun to torment Carlin. Adding a new level to the investigation is a top-secret FBI invention, which allows a select group to view the past on screen as if it had been videotaped days earlier.

The more Carlin sees of Kuchever, the more connected to her he becomes, until he decides to risk his life by travelling back in time and altering the course of history.

With only clothes and possessions remaining of the departed, the emergency services are overrun with looters and rioters taking over the city and seemingly no clues or answers to the mystery. As worldwide panic takes hold, will Earth's remaining inhabitants discover why they were left behind as the end of days approaches? Finally, in 'Blunt Force Trauma' (2015) gunfighters John (Ryan Kwanten) and Colt (Freida Pinto) engage in non-lethal shooting bouts, as they travel around South America in search of the player who killed Colt's brother.

Meanwhile, John also tries to earn a bout with the legendary dueller Zorringer (Mickey Rourke) who only accepts challenges from the best.

Sci-fi action. Early in the 21st century, billionaire Charles Weyland (Lance Hendriksen) is convinced that his satellite thermal imaging system has picked up evidence of an ancient life form buried under the ice in remotest Antarctica. When a team of archaeologists sets out to investigate, they find more than they had bargained for: the ancient pyramid temple they discover contains evidence that the alien life form it contained could still be in existence. They then find out from studying the hieroglyphics in the temple that an even greater threat is hanging over them: a group of Predators - the feared intergalactic hunters - are on their way to earth to take part in a rite-of-passage battle with the aliens that could lay waste to the human race...

A local biker-gang leader (Mickey Rourke), despite reforming his ways, is still the hero of local adolescents. His younger brother (Matt Dillon) idolises him, even though his mentor strives to persuade him that he has done nothing to be proud of. Shot in black and white (with occasional touches of colour), this is an atmospheric rites-of-passage tale with a musical score by Stewart Copeland and featuring many members of the so-called eighties 'Brat Pack'.

John Frankenheimer directs this crime thriller, adapted from Elmore Leonard's novel. Wealthy businessman Harry Mitchell (Roy Scheider)'s life is turned upside down when a group of vicious blackmailers threaten to expose his extramarital affair unless he pays a significant ransom. When Mitchell refuses to pay up, the blackmailers kill his young mistress Cini (Kelly Preston) and frame him for the murder. Unable to go to the police because of his wife's political aspirations, Mitchell takes matters into his own hands in a desperate attempt to end the ordeal.

Simone Young leads the Bayerisches Staatsorchester in this production of Pfitzner's opera, directed for the stage by Christian Stuckl. Performers include Christopher Ventris, Peter Rose, Michael Volle and Falk Struckmann.

One of several adaptations of Conan Doyle's classic tale, this one is considered to have the best portrayal of Sherlock Holmes, by Peter Cushing. Holmes is called in when Sir Charles Baskerville seemingly falls prey to the family curse: a hell-hound which is said to haunt the moors of Devon. However, rather than investigate personally, Holmes opts to send his trusted colleague Doctor Watson (André Morell) to take up residence at Baskerville Hall to protect Sir Charles' heir, Sir Henry Baskerville (Christopher Lee) and attempt to get to the bottom of the mystery. But Holmes is not far away and on-hand to unravel the mystery.

Robert Altman directs this radical adaptation of Raymond Chandler's novel. Los Angeles detective Philip Marlowe (Elliott Gould) smells a rat when his friend Terry Lennox (Jim Bouton), whom he has just driven to Tijuana, is accused of murder. Convinced of Lennox's innocence, Marlowe follows a convoluted trail which leads him to his friend's mistress, Eileen Wade (Nina Van Pallandt), her alcoholic husband (Sterling Hayden) and hood Marty Augustine (Mark Rydell), to whom Lennox owed a substantial sum of money. Watch out for an early, unbilled appearance by Arnold Schwarzenegger as one of Augustine's heavies.

Schoolboy Kevin is rescued from his dull suburban life when a gang of dwarves emerge from his wardrobe and carry him off through space and time. Their travels bring them into contact with some leading historical figures; John Cleese is Robin Hood and Sean Connery is Agamemnon in this bizarre comedy made by several Monty Python members.

Arnold Schwarzenegger stars in this director's cut edition of Mark L. Lester's classic 80's action thriller. John Matrix (Schwarzenegger), a retired Secret Service colonel, is on the trail of right-wing renegades and a Central American dictator, whom he had once helped to depose. The renegades have kidnapped his eleven-year-old daughter and Matrix is not going to rest until he has her back. The cast also includes Rae Dawn Chong, James Olson and Bill Duke.
