A double bill of the classic 70's thrillers featuring an Oscar-winning Gene Hackman as 'Popeye' Doyle. In the first film Doyle and Buddy Russo (Roy Scheider) are tough New York cops attempting to crack a drug smuggling ring. They have a small candy store under surveillance, but Doyle is not happy when he receives the order to work with a pair of French federal agents on the case, one of whom he has a long-standing feud with. Hackman and director William Friedkin both earned Oscars for the film, which also took the award for Best Picture. Whilst in the sequel Doyle (Hackman) travels to Marseilles to track down Charnier (Fernando Rey), the leader of a drug smuggling ring whom he failed to capture in the first film. Kidnapped by dealers and pumped with heroin, Doyle has to kick his new-found habit before he can set about his revenge.

John Williams won an Oscar for his menacing score. This DVD is certificated 12 due to the 'Making of...' documentary included, the VHS version is rated PG.

detective James Gordon (Benjamin McKenzie) and his partner Harvey
Bullock (Donal Logue) investigate the murders of Thomas and Martha
Wayne (Grayson McCouch and Brette Taylor). The investigation leads
Gordon to become entangled with the Mafia and he subsequently fakes the
death of informant Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor), telling him
never to return.

Westworld takes place in the futuristic and technologically advanced Western theme park 'Westworld' where androids known as hosts cater to their guests' every desire. Its creator Dr. Robert Ford has designed an expansive experience where wealthy customers pay to immerse themselves in the Wild West, with his artificially intelligent beings on hand to indulge their fantasies. One such customer enters the park in search of a maze and like so many of his fellow clients attacks two of the robots, Teddy and Dolores, shortly after his arrival. Dolores' subsequent strange behaviour leads Dr. Ford to investigate her programming, which appears normal, but it seems she is not the only host displaying changes in their behaviour...
