A slightly different slant on the 'slacker' comedy genre directed by 'Friends' star David Schwimmer. Five years ago Dennis (Simon Pegg) was at the altar about to marry Libby (Thandie Newton), his pregnant fiancee. He got cold feet and headed for the hills, and he's been going in circles ever since. When Dennis discovers Libby's now hooked up with high-flying go-getter Whit (Hank Azaria), he realises it's now or never. Assisted by his friend Gordon (Dylan Moran), he decides to enter a marathon to show he's not a quitter but then finds out just how much sweat, strain and pain it takes to run for 26 miles. No one rates his chances, but Dennis knows this is the only way to stop being a running joke.

With Dmitri intent on framing Gustave for his mother's murder, the concierge and his lobby boy Zero Moustafa (Tony Revolori) hatch a plan to hide the painting and evade the authorities. Will they succeed? The ensemble cast includes Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Harvey Keitel, Jude Law, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Saoirse Ronan, Tom Wilkinson and Owen Wilson. The film won four Academy Awards, the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture - Comedy Or Musical as well as BAFTAs for Best Original Music and Best Original Screenplay.

Along the way, the trouble-making duo enter a children's beauty pageant and visit a funeral home while unleashing a bevy of pranks on an unsuspecting public.

Three journalists set out to investigate an oddball who claims he can time travel in this indie comedy directed by Colin Trevorrow. When a local paper discovers a personal ad asking for someone to share in a time-traveling trip with the writer, the editor dispatches Jeff (Jake M Johnson) and interns Darius (Aubrey Plaza) and Arnau (Karan Soni) to get a story. After tracing the ad to quirky supermarket shelf-stacker Kenneth (Mark Duplass), an initially sceptical Darius manages to gain his confidence by posing as a potential candidate for his mission. But over the coming weeks, as she undertakes 'training exercises' in the nearby woods, she gradually finds herself torn between her developing feelings for Kenneth and her obligations as a budding reporter.

Unfortunately, in the form of ill-intentioned meddlers like the United States of America and the United Nations, Aladeen also faces external threats to his rule. The film follows him as he heads to a UN meeting in New York to defy his enemies and their muddled notions of 'rule by the people'.
