Moronic metalheads Wayne (Mike Myers) and Garth (Dana Carvey) broadcast a cable-access show from Wayne's basement. Their wisecracks about youth, music and girls are picked up on by a TV executive (Rob Lowe), who pays them to produce a 'new, improved' programme for national TV. But the pair discover that fame has its price when they lose control of the show and the TV executive starts pursuing Wayne's girlfriend.

Nick Frost stars in the title role of this comedy drama written and directed by Robert B. Weide. Set in Watford in 1969, Mr Sloane is a down on his luck accountant who has recently been fired from his job, left by his wife and even failed by a badly executed suicide attempt. The only things keeping him sane are his friends Ross (Peter Serafinowicz), Reggie (Brendan Patricks) and Beans (Lawry Lewin) and the evenings he spends with them down the pub. All, it seems, is lost until he meets a young American woman called Robin (Ophelia Lovibond) who takes him under her free-spirited wing and shows him what life should be. Director Mike Leigh takes a satirical look at middle-class values in the 70s. Upwardly mobile couple Beverley and Laurence host an informal drinks evening when their neighbour's teenage daughter, Abigail, throws a party. Tensions arise as bored, bitchy housewife Beverley (Alison Steadman) flirts with her new neighbour, patronises his wife, embarasses Abigail's mother Sue and drives her over-stressed husband to the point of no return.

Comedy sequel to 'K9' (1988) directed by Charles T. Kanganis and starring James Belushi, Christine Tucci and James Handy. Detective Dooley (Belushi) and his police dog Jerry Lee continue their fight against crime but after ten long years of service they are beginning to feel their age. After they fail to prevent a number of attacks made by a mad gunman, Dooley and Jerry Lee are partnered with the no-nonsense Sergeant Welles (Tucci) and her fearless pet Doberman Zeus. They must all come together as a team in order to catch a dangerous, obsessed stalker whose fixation on Dooley threatens to have dire consequences.

They travel to Myrtle Beach to give a knockout performance featuring new moves. On the way they reunite with old friends and meet some new people, learning to move on from past events as they do so.
