Starr Morgayne, the author of Bewitching Beauty: bringing out your
inner Goddess, naturally, returns with her newest release as she
instructs the reader on her secrets of making herbal infusions and
other remedies from her kitchen to yours. In this book she
describes how to make bath teas, steam facials, instructs you in
how to make herbal syrups and much more. The certified herbalist
has taken photos from her own herb garden to show the plants and
clearly illustrates how she creates simple to do yet effective
treatments such as clove toothache oils, mullein and garlic ear oil
and a wide variety of teas.
"His Hand Has Provided" shows you (through the use of herbs and
whole organic food) how to rise above the media and pharmaceutical
industry's plan to ruin your health by pretending they are looking
out for your health. The Author boldly speaks out on this
horrifying situation that most people are not fully aware of. It is
written from a Christian Cowboy's perspective and goes into much
detail about the history of the American cowboy's contribution to
our knowledge of herbal medicine as well as his common-sense
living. There is a thread of humor running through it as it often
refers to the way an 1800's cowboy would look at such things as
modern health ideas, processed foods, and the way doctors push
deadly drugs for most everything. This book is quite
anti-establishment in many ways and is very anti pharmaceutical but
it more than makes up for it by providing references to the use of
many herbs as natural medicine. It fully exposes Monsanto and the
GMO takeover of our food supply but it tells you many ways to get
around it and above it. You don't have to be a Christian to
appreciate this book and if you are not, don't worry, you will be
able to get through it with out feeling "preached down to" at all.
However if you are a Christian you will have many "wake-up moments"
that tend to kind of say, "Wow How can I claim to live a Christian
life and do that to my body?" Or, "Why have I been accepting the
lies of the drug companies and not listening to God?"

Prior to the outlawing of cannabis in 1937, major pharmaceutical
companies produced a wide variety of cannabis-based medicines, but
cannabis has actually been used as a medicine for thousands of
years. Although it has a long history, the recent discovery (1992)
of the body's widespread endocannabinoid system (ECS) has thrust
cannabis back into the limelight again as a viable medicine. In
2012 over 2.5 million prescriptions were written for medical
marijuana in the United States. CBD and THC are both cannabinoids
found in cannabis. However, while THC produces a "high" in the
user, CBD does not. And now legal CBD-rich hemp oil is available
over-the-counter in all 50 states, without a prescription. It was
discovered that the Hemp Family of plants (cannabis, marijuana) is
loaded with cannabinoids that stimulate our ECS receptor sites.
These sites are found in the brain, organs, glands, connective
tissue and immune cells and plays regulatory roles in many
physiological processes including appetite, pain-sensation, mood
and memory. The primary purpose of this system revolves around
maintaining balance in the body. Cannabinoids found in all
varieties of cannabis work in harmony with the cannabinoids we
naturally produce when our system is functioning properly. It is
now coming to light that we may very well be "Endocannabinoid
Deficient" and supplementing with Cannabidiol, known as CBD, may
provide just what we're missing to restore optimum health. The
health benefits of cannabidiol (CBD) from natural hemp oil is this
book's primary focus. It explores the similarities, differences,
uses and benefits of hemp, cannabis and medical marijuana along
with the interplay of THC and CBD. Their 480 other components are
also discussed, such as terpenoids, flavonoids, enzymes, vitamins,
etc. Make no mistake about it, the endocannabinoid system, although
newly discovered, is just as important as any other bodily system,
like the muscular, cardiac, circulatory or digestive system. The
ECS requires its own specialized medicine as found in the Hemp
Family of plants, which is also known as cannabis, and which
includes all strains of marijuana. Here is a list of conditions
known and/or being researched that may be helped by cannabinoid
therapeutics and supplementation: Acne ADD/ADHD Addiction AIDS ALS
(Lou Gehrig's Disease) Alzheimer's Anorexia Antibiotic Resistance
Anxiety Atherosclerosis Arthritis Asthma Autism Bipolar Cancer
Colitis/Crohn's Depression Diabetes Endocrine Disorders
Epilepsy/Seizure Fibromyalgia Glaucoma Heart Disease Huntington's
Inflammation Irritable Bowel Kidney Disease Liver Disease Metabolic
Syndrome Migraine Mood Disorders Motion Sickness Multiple Sclerosis
Nausea Neurodegeneration Neuropathic Pain Obesity OCD Osteoporosis
Parkinson's Prion/Mad Cow Disease PTSD Rheumatism Schizophrenia
Sickle Cell Anemia Skin Conditions Sleep Disorders Spinal Cord
Injury Stress Stroke/TBI 10% of the proceeds from sales of this
book will be donated to the American Cannabis Nurses Association in
an effort to bring together nurses, to share, integrate and one day
certify nurses in the science of endocannabinoid therapeutics in
nursing practice.
"Herbal Remedies & Solutions: An Introduction to the Benefits
of Herbal Remedies" is a wonderful introductory guide that helps
the reader to learn all about herbal remedies and the benefits that
can be had from using them. Through the words of the author, the
reader learns how herbs were used by our predecessors and the place
that holds in modern society today. The thing is that a lot of the
manufactured medication that are on the market today may have been
made using herbal extracts. Some of the physicians are even taking
things back to basics and prescribing herbal remedies for their
patients as they tend to have milder side effects and are extremely
effective.
