PY3 & PG7 & PW4 & PW6. Average Drying. Opaque. Excellent Lightfastness. Low Oil Content.
In 1985, following extensive research, Old Holland presented a revolutionary range of 168 oil paints, each with the highest degree of lightfastness. Traditional, non-lightfast pigments were replaced with modern lightfast pigments with the same colour characteristics as the traditional ones. Thanks to the highest possible concentration of pigment in each colour, the paint has an unprecedented colour strength. Within the unique range of 168 colours, there is a wide range of opaque and transparent colours, each with the highest possible brilliance (intense) and clarity (clean) characteristics. The only medium used for these oil paints is cold-pressed extra virgin linseed oil, to obtain an optimum oxidisation (drying) of the paint. This increases durability and brushstroke spread. Together, these characteristics result in an oil paint of unequalled quality.
Pigment classification : Cadmium zinc sulphide-Chromium hydroxide
R&F Pigment Sticks let you get rid of the distancing factor of a brush and hold the paint right in your hand. The sticks are handmade in small batches, carefully milled and molded. Only the purest traditional materials are used: linseed oil, pure pigment, and natural waxes (beeswax & plant wax). R&F are the only brand of oil sticks that employ only natural waxes, which allows for a minimum amount of wax. This results in a lipstick-soft consistency and a greater paint film strength. This is a 100ml R&F Pigment Stick in the following colour: Green Earth II (2628).pdf=rfpigment.pdf Material Safety Data Sheetyoutube=ESKeGsnSwW8youtube=5yFjbe9AKL0

High quality, slightly yellow oil made in the USA. Extracted without the use of heat. Increases gloss and transparency and reduces brushmarks. Highly recommended for grinding pigments.
Michael Harding's Oleo Impasto Medium (PM7) is a gel made from fumed silica and linseed oil which imparts great luminosity, particularly with transparent colors. You can add it with a brush or knife to achieve extra body.

Sennelier gathers only the finest natural and inorganic pigments from around the world. The pure pigments are ground very slowly with extreme care to an extra-fine consistency. They are then combined at maximum concentration with an archival safflower oil to yield the highest possible tinting strength and a lustrous satin finish. The sensuous pigments have a unique buttery texture.
Cobra Water Mixable Oil Colours provide a perfect oil paint result with a uniform drying time and degree of gloss. Painting with Cobra paints is much like painting with traditional oils. The paint can be applied using all the usual oil paint techniques. The colour, as well as the brush stroke or applied texture, retains its full expression after the paint has dried; the paint remains as it was when applied.

Originating from the Williamsburg neighbourhood of Brooklyn, each oil colour is milled in small batches to bring out the best qualities of the pigment used. Williamsburg's oil paints have gathered an international presence while preserving the handmade integrity of the paint. Tubes are available 37 ml and 150 ml sizes. This is a 37ml tube of Williamsburg Oil Paint in Safflower Cerulean Blue French.
The deepest of the Isaro's Cadmium range. This red has a slight hint of violet as an undertone.
This pure and luminous bright red has a strong tinting power. Cadmium Red is obtained by replacing a tiny percentage of sulphur with selenium when combined with cadmium. This red has a very pure hue, if mixed with white the undertone is red and not pink such as with other organic reds.
Transparent Medium:Transparency: Transparent Lightfastness: ExcellentPigment Index:ShinHan Oil Colours are carefully formulated to provide a rich, creamy consistency and a high degree of luminosity. Each colour within the range is refined according to the international colour system of Munsell, Ostwald, and the Natural Colour System. The range consists of 109 colours, many of which are single pigmented. This ensures clean mixing and the resulting hues will be bright and vivid. All ShinHan art materials carry the AP Non-Toxic and CL health label and are in full compliance with ASTM D-4236 standards. Colours that may be harmful are clearly identified for the safety of the artist. Made by Sennelier, Rive Gauche is named after the Left Bank of Paris where Sennelier was founded in 1887. The special property of these oil paints is that they dry to a satin finish, twice as fast as conventional oil paint, while retaining the characteristic buttery texture of fine oil colours. This allows the artist to work twice as fast
Alizarin Crimson has a unique rich red Cabernet mass tone with the smallest touch of warmth, combined with a vibrant cool undertone.
Very deep red with a blue tinge. High opacity and tinting power.
Langridge Handmade Oil Colour has been constructed to excel in saturation of colour and physical handling qualities. Developed in consultation with artists, these paints satisfy demands for oil colours that are unadulterated by fillers or modifiers, resulting in a pure, full-strength paint. Constructed with the highest pigment loading they are the world’s first oil paint specifically based on contemporary high-saturation colours. Please note: Langridge 300ml Oil Colours are provided in a cartridge, not a tube. We recommend using a Cartridge Gun to dispense your paint.Pigment: Calcined Raw SiennaClassification: Natural InorganicColour Index: PBr7 (77491)Vehicle: Linseed OilHiding power: OpaquePigment Loading: NormalConsistency: SoftDrying rate: 2-5 daysASTM: IProduct Code: 0823Series: 2
Art Spectrum Artists Oil Paints are made in Australia from the finest quality pigments, specially selected for their lightfastness. These pigments are then milled into high-grade Linseed Oil (except for the whites, which are milled in Sunflower Oil, a paler, slower-drying oil which is less prone to yellowing over the centuries). Unique to the range are a series of special hues which are perfect for capturing sun-baked Australian landscapes, including Australian Leaf Green Blue, Australian Leaf Green Light, Pilbara Red and Australian Green Gold. A high proportion of the colours are single pigment colours, which aids clarity in mixing.
Modern, fully transparent version of Burnt Sienna with higher gloss, greater clarity and ease of handling.
Titanium White is a carefully balanced all-purpose white that will not 'chalk' tints. Superb feel under the brush and superior color retention.
Zinc White: The most transparent white, Zinc is recommended for glazing, scumbling and alla prima painting. Compared with all other whites, Zinc White has less hiding power. Zinc White dries slowly, so painters who want to paint wet into wet over a long time will find it useful. Because it's brittle, painters should not consider it as a general painting white unless painting on panel.Pigment: Zinc oxide (PW 4)Vehicle: Alkali refined linseed oilLightfastness I, Series 1, SEMI-TRANSPARENT
Titanium Buff: A light, yellow-grey made from a compound of titanium dioxide and iron oxide. This popular colour is valuable in figurative and landscape painting. |
