Emiliano Zapata Salazar (1879-1919). Mexico. Fue uno de los lideres principales de la Revolucion Mexicana. Nacio en San Miguel Anenecuilco, distrito de Ayala, en el estado de Morelos el 8 de agosto de 1879. En septiembre de 1909 fue electo presidente de la junta de defensa de las tierras de Anenecuilco. Y en mayo de 1910 recupero por la fuerza las tierras de Villa de Ayala, que eran protegidas por el el jefe de la policia y las entrego a los campesinos de la zona. Algunos meses despues participo en la reunion que se celebro alli para discutir el Plan de San Luis. A finales de 1910 un enviado suyo fue a Estados Unidos para entrevistarse con Francisco I. Madero. Tras este encuentro Zapata decidio tomar las armas el 10 de marzo de 1911, proclamando el Plan de San Luis. Por entonces combatio en Chinameca, Jojutla, Jonacatepec, Tlayecac y Tlaquiltenango. En 1911 Zapata se convirtio en el lider revolucionario del sur. Reivindicaba una reforma agraria radical. Con el asesinato de Francisco I. Madero y el ascenso en el poder de Victoriano Huerta, la lucha armada se recrudecio y Zapata introdujo importantes reformas en Morelos, que lo opusieron a Venustiano Carranza, el nuevo presidente. En 1914 la Convencion de Aguascalientes adopto el Plan de Ayala y eligio como presidente provisional a Eulalio Gutierrez. Los grupos dirigidos por Francisco Villa y Zapata aceptaron los resultados de la Convencion, no el encabezado por el general Carranza, lo que provoco la continuacion de la guerra civil. En 1919 Jesus Guajardo le hizo creer a Zapata que estaba descontento con Carranza y que estaria dispuesto a unirse a el. Zapata le pidio pruebas y Guajardo se las dio. Acordaron reunirse en la Hacienda de Chinameca, Morelos, el 10 de abril, Zapata fue asesinado en una encerrona.

The second edition of Comparative Anatomy and Histology is aimed at the new rodent investigator as well as medical and veterinary pathologists who need to expand their knowledge base into comparative anatomy and histology. It guides the reader through normal mouse and rat anatomy and histology using direct comparison to the human. The side by side comparison of mouse, rat, and human tissues highlight the unique biology of the rodents, which has great impact on the validation of rodent models of human disease.
In his writings Blechschmidt consistently accessed and described the subject of human embryology from the viewpoint of biodynamic metabolic fields and focuses his attention on the question: How does human form arise? Blechschmidt wrote and published exclusively in German. It was mostly through a German/English bi-lingual volume published by Karger ("The Stages of Human Development Before Birth", 1960) and an exceptional cooperation with his co-author R. F. Gasser ("Biokinetics and Biodynamics of Human Differentiation", 1978), that his work became partly available to an international English speaking audience. "The Beginnings of Human Life" (1977) was written primarily for the general public, but is no longer in print. The publication of Brian Freeman's translation of "The Ontogenetic Basis of Human Anatomy" (2004), contributed to a growing interest in Blechschmidt's ideas. Slowly osteopaths, Structural Integrators, cranial practitioners and other therapists began to appreciate his work. The books mentioned above offer both a general and comprehensive access to the morphological cosmos described by Blechschmidt but, unfortunately, they are only partly available at the moment. However, there are a number of unnoticed scientific articles already translated into English that offer a more detailed and deeper, specific insight into this elaborate universe of shape and form. The basal ganglia are involved in complex brain functions, from voluntary movement control to learning and reward processing, and they are implicated in numerous neurological and psychiatric disorders.
