"Spiritual Snake Oil" shows that the same fallacies that plague
religious apologetics also infect virtually all "new age" and
"spiritual" writing. Author Chris Edwards does this by dissecting
the arguments and assertions of the most prominent "new age" icons
and "spiritual" writers. They include Robert Pirsig ("Zen and the
Art of Motorcycle Maintenance"), James Redfield ("The Celestine
Prophecy"), Deepak Chopra ("Life After Death"), Dinesh D'Souza
("Life After Death"), Francis Collins's ("The Language of God"),
Rhonda Byrne ("The Secret"), and even Michael Crichton (a
surprising defender of New Age thinking). As Edwards shows, the
same fallacies, the same errors in argument, show up time after
time in the writings of these--and virtually all other--"new age"
and "spiritual" writers. In addition to explaining these fallacies
in the chapters devoted to the individual authors, Edwards devotes
a final chapter, "A Compendium of Fallacies," to outlining the
tricks and deceptive practices common to illogical arguments.
For the Christian woman the journey of womanhood and of moving
from little girl to wonderful woman occurs while living in a world
that is not her home and within a culture that does not reflect the
norms and values of Christian teaching. Each of us must determine
which of the cultural messages about what it means to be a woman we
will pick up and carry with us and which we will leave behind,
while carefully balancing living here in this present culture and
reflecting the norms and values of permanent and eternal home.
What's a girl to do? How do we choose which cultural messages to
accept and which to leave behind? And how do we eliminate all the
excess baggage of lies and half-truths that weighs us down? Where
did we pick up all this stuff in the first place?
Come along with author Cinthia W. Pratt and navigate through
this culture in which we live; discover life-changing truths to set
us free from the excess baggage of lies and half-truths. Will you
dare to be "Fearfully Female and Wonderfully Woman," as God
designed and intended?
It will allow you an inner reflection of a smile, a sigh, or a
thought that you may have misplaced. The writers ability to
perceive and project our deepest feelings those we hide and those
we wish to share is evident through out this book. Mel Cintrons
writing opens you up to a new world of emotions and consciousness
and your own involvement and ownership. Have you ever had something
to say, but I couldn't find the right words? Was there ever a time
when words just didn't do justice to your thoughts or feelings
because they were stronger than words? Have you ever wanted to
express yourself in a way that transcends all that has been said
before? Then "The Thoughts of a Heart" is a reflection of yourself,
what you thought no one could express or feel of you. Within these
pages you will find that which you wish to share with yourself and
that which you wish to share with others. The authors writings have
been used to mend, heal, strengthen, and star relationships and
sharings of our innermost value with ourselves and with others.
What you think and wish to say to yourself and others Is said with
words from the soul, in "The Thoughts of a Heart."
No one can be essentially unhappy unless one is in immediate
physical danger. One is just talking about unhappiness, trying to
escape psychological uncomfortableness by ideas, explanations. You
can save yourself physically. But you can not save yourself
psychologically. Clearly seeing this lets one drop the issue of
happiness. One regains one's supremacy. We see disorder outside. We
can take action. Mind is enamoured as if by dealing with outside
disorder, order within will be established-one will be happy. But
within you there can be no disorder. Even if you perceive
disturbance within, it is 'you'- it is in the field accessible to
you only. The disturbance within is in the format, which can not be
acted upon. If you see this, supreme relaxation takes over. Now you
can take action in respect of the outer disorder.
Moving on and reiterating on the Code's findings, I did see a
typology or pattern in Enoch, Moses, and Elijah in the OT, after
recognizing Moses' own rapture. Accordingly, I saw it in Philip,
Paul, and John in the NT, in chronological order. Yet, as
concerning the rapture of Christ into the wilderness, I just didn't
see it as a rapture, at the time (six years ago), so having only
two raptures of Christ: the transfiguration and the ascension. I
felt, I had hit a wall. Then, soon after this same time, I was
concluding a study in typology from the OT book of Ezekiel, and
unexpectedly, I saw something I hadn't considered before: two
bodily raptures of Ezekiel himself (Eze. 3:12; 37:1). Then it
dawned on me, "Could there be a third bodily rapture of Ezekiel,
giving me three sets of chronologically trio ordered raptures,
which would give me a total of nine raptures?" Excitedly searching,
I soon found a third bodily rapture of Ezekiel (Eze. 11:1). Then, I
dug out my old notes from earlier and compared them to my newfound
information from Ezekiel and realized that I now had three sets of
chronologically trio ordered raptures that totaled nine bodily
raptures Three trio sets of raptures. I was elated, and at the same
time, it scared me. This time, I had to search this out without
ceasing. As I searched through all my notes from all my different
studies throughout the years, I then came across my study on
Christ's trip into the wilderness, His transfiguration, and His
ascension; and I remembered my premonition that the wilderness trip
might be a rapture (which I had badly lacked the needed evidence to
prove it so). Then, with the Codes insights and even closer study
and prayer, I saw that in the text of Christ's trip into the
wilderness was the word immediate. And how the Code lead me through
the Scriptures to realize how this word really meant-a 16 Craig S.
Luchin rapture of Christ, in the context of that passage (Matt. 4).
Therefore, this made Christ's trip into the wilderness-the third
discovered rapture of Christ that I needed for the completion of
the Rapture Code, based on that one word. (In this book, I will
explain how this word can mean a rapture, in the context of Mk.
1:12, based on Jn. 6:21.) So Jesus' wilderness trip, His
transfiguration, and His ascension-fit the pattern or typology of
the chronological trio rapture order-recorded in this: Rapture
Code. Hence, three more bodily raptures. I now had twelve
chronologically trio bodily raptures, all in their own typological
orders, which is taught in this book. Henceforth, I began to see
the strongest as of yet: Rapture Code, begin to emerge from
Scriptures and to explain these twelve raptures in a new and
different way. Yet these perfectly ordered raptures, these
completely biblical truths, and these deeply functional meanings
from Scripture would teach me things and take me places that I had
not at all expected. Yes, I could now see a code (typology or
pattern) for the Rapture of the Church (1 Thess. 4, 1 Cor. 15).
Accordingly, for the Rapture of the Two Witnesses (Rev. 11), namely
the first two raptures of the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church
and the Midtribulation Rapture of the Two Witnesses. Yet it had
become clear to me that The Rapture Code was leading me to another
group completely separate from the Churches' and the Two Witnesses'
raptures. Then, I thought, "Who could this third group be?" Well,
the answer is the Rapture of the Elect of Israel, and findings to
this question are in this book. Also, the answers to many other
Rapture questions, End Time questions, Tribulation questions,
Eschatology questions, and the Big question that permeates in the
Church today: "Would I be left behind if Christ came today, if I
was not ready for Him?" The Rapture Code will present biblical
answers that have for me, set me free from the concern of "being
left behind" when Christ appears in the clouds to take all
Christians home to dwell in Heaven with Him. Answers that
Dear friend, this book will help you to understand how psychics and
mediums work. It will also help you to understand more about the
human spirit and the energies which surround each of us, often
referred to as the "aura." What empowers physical form, giving it
consciousness, mind and personality, thoughts and feelings, is pure
eternal-indestructible energy known as "spirit." When the physical
form reaches a condition where it becomes untenable for the spirit
(known as the "soul" in its individualized state) to continue
inhabiting it, it departs, like the Butterfly leaving the
chrysalises. These facts are true for every single person who has
or ever will live upon this planet (or elsewhere). Whether "in
spirit" or presently experiencing through a physical form we are in
essence eternal energy beings. We are capable of blending our
energies, spirit to spirit, to facilitate mind-to-mind contact to
communicate with each other. As you may expect - this is more
natural and easy to do when both souls are in the spirit realms and
on the same level of consciousness and frequency of vibration.
However, even when one is in spirit and one on earth it is still
possible to blend energies and transmit images, thoughts and
feelings to each other. This is exactly what transpires with
mediums on earth. A spirit person draws close to them and
establishes communication. This is more possible with a medium
because their vibrations are suitably 'sympathetic' to such a link,
and more so than the average person. As a result they are able to
consciously recognize communications and relay these to other
people. The communications arrive via the aura of a medium, which
in essence is part of their spirit. These communications are
natural because we are all spirit beings. Lifetimes on earth are
experiences we have chosen to learn through. We are like actors
upon the stage of life, playing different roles. The productions we
take part in are the "ultimate" in terms of believability because
we arrive with no memories of spirit life and past physical
lifetimes experienced by the soul. This enables us to start afresh,
free from past conditions which could disrupt responses
appertaining to the current lifetime. Past memories do however
remain within us, because nothing can be totally expunged from our
own higher consciousness. This is why hypnosis can open the door to
memories of spirit life and past physical lives. As can meditation,
dreams and near-death experiences. While some people do manage to
carry certain recollections into their present lifetime; which is
why young children sometimes remember past experiences on earth.
Other than clairvoyantly or through materialization, spirit people
or animals are invisible to those of us upon earth because their
rate of vibration is faster than the speed of light and therefore
beyond the optical range of our physical eyes. Yet they are there -
around us and with us on many occasions, as their communications
prove. Communication is not straightforward or easy. It requires a
medium, whether mental, trance, physical, or artistic. Naturally,
we should "test the spirits" and the mediums, and not take
everything they may say without consideration and deliberation.
However, we should do so with an open mind and this will
undoubtedly prove to us all that life is eternal, and that genuine
mediums are able to communicate with those residing in the
spiritual realms. I hope all of this helps you to understand how
psychics and mediums work and more about the spirit nature of life.

This book is a visually compelling journey through the unique
geometric discoveries of Frank Chester, a contemporary sacred
geometer, artist, and sculptor. This art-style book with highly
polished design elements leads the reader from discovery to
discovery, complemented by original text from the author, a PhD who
has studied Frank's work from its inception, when it was just seven
sticks in a ball of mud on the banks of the American River... From
the back cover: The ancient tradition of Sacred Geometry is still
alive and well in the person of Frank Chester. He has discovered a
new geometric form that unites the five Platonic solids and
provides some startling indications about the form and function of
the human heart. This new form, called the Chestahedron, was
discovered in 2000, and is a seven-sided polyhedron with surfaces
of equal area. Frank has been exploring the form and its
significance for over a decade. His work has potential implications
across a number of areas, from physiology to architecture,
sculpture, geology, and beyond. Inspired by the work of Rudolf
Steiner, Frank sees a deep connection between form and spirit. This
book gives a brief, highly visual overview of some of Frank's
discoveries, and presents a compelling series of indications for
future research.
