Speedball Supergraphic Black Ink is the flagship colour in the Speedball Professional Relief Ink range. Developed in consultation with the printmaker and tutor Bill Fick, this is a rich, velvety black which holds detail well and will not clog up a block halfway through an edition. Like all colours in the range, this ink is a lightfast and fully archival oil-based printmaking ink which can be washed up with just soap and water.Speedball Professional Relief Inks are designed for all types of relief printing, especially linocut and woodcut. Because this ink can be thinned with water, it is preferable to print onto dry paper.This is an 16oz (473ml) tin of Supergraphic Black (PBK7, Speedball Lightfastness rating I). Made from soft, natural latex gum rubber with a precision-ground finish, Speedball Soft Rubber Brayers are ideal for use with linoleum, vinyl, or wood blocks.  The heavy-duty steel frame provides enhanced durability, and the flexibility of the 40/42 durometer rubber ensures for even ink distribution especially over uneven surfaces. The roller diameter is 30mm and the widths range from 1.5in/38mm to 6in/150mm.  Designed for use with water based and oil based inks. Care should be taken with the rubber rollers when cleaning and storing.  Lightly dust with talc to avoid the surface becoming sticky and ensure the surface of the roller is not pressing against anything when put away.

Akua Intaglio Ink was originally formulated for intaglio printmaking, however this ink can also be applied with a brayer for relief printmaking, monotype, and collagraphs; and it will print from any plastic, wood, linoleum or metal plate. It is a soy based ink which is made with high quality lightfast pigments. The inks have a thick consistency with minimal water content and contain no toxic driers - this means a longer working time. The ink cleans up easily with a dry rag followed by soap and water. Inexpensive liquid dish detergent can be used. Never use toxic solvents. Prints can be re-soaked immediately after printing if handled carefully. Once the print is dry, Akua Intaglio is permanent. Ink will never skin or harden in the jar or the ink slab, meaning minimal ink is wasted. Wiping the plate with Akua Intaglio is easier than wiping oil-based ink, meaning you need to spend less time cleaning up.
