Fabriano Artistico watercolour paper is mould made and is produced with 100% cotton. It is chlorine and acid free, guaranteeing long conservation and inalterability over time. The paper is sized both internally and externally, making it ideally absorbent and retaining its nature unaltered even if scratched. This paper is traditional white, without optical bleaching.

Arches Aquarelle watercolour paper is acid-free and chlorine free, made of 100% cotton fibres which provide strength and stability. The paper is tub-sized in natural gelatine and air-dried, it can take scrubbing, scratching and erasing while keeping the original intensity of the watercolour. Arches Aquarelle uses no optical brighteners so it's natural white colour will not yellow with age and archival value is ensured. Pastelmat is a premium card surface (360gsm / 170lb) specially developed for pastelists. Its unique velvety surface, made from a fine coating of cellulose fibers, has the ability to grab and hold multiple layers of even the softest pastels. Pastelmat significantly reduces the need for fixative, which means that colors remain vibrant and fresh once applied. It has the added bonus of being gentle on both fingers and blending tools. It is acid free and lightfast. Pastelmat is ideal for use with all dry media - pastel sticks, PanPastel, pencils and charcoal. It is also water resistant which means that it can be used with wet media – such as acrylics and watercolor for washes and mixed media techniques.This Red Label Pastelmat Pad contains twelve white Pastelmat sheets.Please note: PastelMat are sometimes subject to some small spotting and discolouration. This is to be expected due to the manufacturing process. The small talc spots can simply be removed with a stiff brush or a craft knife.
Created in consultation with the President and Council of the Royal Watercolour Society, this neutral white, artist-quality paper is designed for use with water-based paints. It is made from a mixture of cotton and linen, and is sized with gelatin. Each sheet is deckle-edged, and bears the stamp and watermark of the RWS. At 425gsm, these are thick, high-quality sheets. They have a rough, textured surface, and are not suitable for detailed work. Artists wishing to produce detailed work are advised to try the Hot-pressed or Not versions of these sheets.
