Arches Aquarelle watercolour paper is acid-free and chlorine free, made of 100% cotton fibres which provide strength and stability. The paper is tub-sized in natural gelatine and air-dried, it can take scrubbing, scratching and erasing while keeping the original intensity of the watercolour. Arches Aquarelle uses no optical brighteners so it's natural white colour will not yellow with age and archival value is ensured. Arches Aquarelle is excellent for watercolour, gouache, pen and ink, acrylics and calligraphy.
Bockingford is a beautiful English watercolour paper, traditionally made on a cylinder mould machine at St Cuthberts Mill. This is a high quality paper made using pure materials to archival standards.The surface is created using natural woollen felts that give it a distinctive random texture. Appreciated for its excellent colour lifting abilities. This is an extremely forgiving watercolour paper valued by professional and amateur artists around the world.

The Hahnemühle cylinder mould made 100% cotton paper for artistic print techniques is produced in single sheets with 4 genuine deckled edges. One of the world's finest water colour papers. A 100% cotton watercolour paper, with a structure giving it strength and a characteristic feel. The manufacturing process, using a cylinder mould, makes it possible to obtain harmonious and varied grains with rough, cold-pressed, hot-pressed quality and two deckled edges. The paper is gelatin-sized, and then air-dried, so that the colours retain a fine rendering even after being scraped and erased. Its natural whiteness (no optical bleaches), mildew protection and neutral PH mean that the paper has a very long shelf-life.
Goldline Watercolour Studio Pad is an acid free, archival substrate made from a mix of cotton and lignin free cellulose. The paper is cold pressed and both internally and externally sized resulting in a slightly textured, highly absorbent surface that is ideal for a variety of media including watercolour, gouache, acrylic, ink, charcoal and pencil. The paper comes in a pad glued down one edge.
For many years artists have appreciated the qualities of the Langton. Made traditionally on a cylinder mould machine, it features a natural whiteness with a soft touch and distinctive texture. Langton watercolour paper is acid free with an alkali reserve to preserve finished pieces of work and protect against discolouration. Treated with an anti-fungal treatment, Langton watercolour paper also boasts a gelatinised surface for strength and resilience. Please note, these sheets have a rough finish. They have a textured surface, and are not suitable for painting in a detailed manner.

Clairefontaine Ingres is a laid paper, which means that the surface of each sheet has a faintly ribbed texture, perfect for holding graphite and soft pastel colour. This surface is characteristic of the traditional hand-made papers of the pre-Industrial age, which were formed in sieve-like moulds of wire mesh which left impressions on the surface of the paper.This sheet is made of cotton and is naturally acid-free. It measures 50x65cm and is of the following colour: Black.
The 4 edges of this sized paper have been trimmed. The good sizing and excellent resistance to even the hardest erasers are the main features of this paper, which is ideal not only for students at technical schools but also for professional use by graphic artists, architects and surveyors. Fabriano 4 is dry-embossed. The embossing reproduces their trademark, the number 4 and the Fabriano logo. Liscio is a smooth surface paper.
Millford is the newest watercolour paper developed by St Cuthberts Mill. It is styled on the discontinued Whatman watercolour paper, after artists grieved the loss of this unique type of watercolour paper. It is mould made from 100% cotton (just like the original Whatman), and it's beautiful surface is created using natural woollen felts. It is deliberately created to have a high resistance to water, so it’s washes perform very differently to traditional watercolour papers. |
