L'auteur concoit la modalite comme une categorie semantico-fonctionnelle, independante des elements qui l'expriment et du niveau de la structure grammaticale dont ils relevent. Pour definir la modalite, il tient compte egalement de ses caracteristiques structurelles ainsi que de phenomenes relevant de niveaux cognitifs plus hauts et plus bas. Cela permet de porter un regard critique sur les recherches anterieures, de developper un cadre theorique conciliant les differentes approches et d'analyser systematiquement les expressions de la modalite en francais (verbes et adverbes modaux, modes verbaux etc.). Dieses Buch liefert theoretisch-methodische und deskriptive Grundlagen einer Varianzstilistik des Russischen im Wandel, die sowohl standard- als auch non-standard-sprachliche Phanomene integriert. Im Fokus der Non-Standard-Darstellung stehen dabei diverse Soziolekte, die auf russischem Boden spatestens seit 1917 eine Schlusselrolle in der Etablierung des Non-Standards in Standard-Domanen spielen. Die stilistisch und asthetisch, aber auch ideologisch bedingte Varianz zwischen dem Non-Standard und Standard wird in der vorliegenden Untersuchung im Spannungsfeld von alternativem kunstlerischem Diskurs und offiziellem linguistischem Diskurs empirisch erfasst.

Internationalismen sind in mindestens drei Sprachen formal und inhaltlich ahnliche sprachliche Einheiten. Die Untersuchung vergleicht potentielle Internationalismen in zehn Sprachen im Hinblick auf die AEhnlichkeit (Kongruenz) ihrer Schreibung. Der Vergleich findet dabei nicht nur mit dem deutschen Lexem statt, sondern auch mit den Lexemen der anderen Sprachen untereinander. Die vorgestellten Kriterien zur Bestimmung von Kongruenz erlauben die Berechnung von Kongruenzwerten. So ist es moeglich, graphematische AEhnlichkeiten auf einer Skala anzuordnen und die Lexempaare dadurch prazise vergleichbar zu machen.

Las formas de tratamiento en el ambito hispanico y lusofono representan uno de los temas mas complejos y, a la vez, mas estudiados. La diversidad de alternativas y usos a ambos lados del Atlantico es bien conocida, aunque la mayoria de estudios se concentra en casos aislados de una ciudad o region muy determinada, o bien muestra un analisis descriptivo de los pronombres de cortesia. Ademas, los especialistas han prestado mas atencion a la casuistica de las variedades americanas y menos a la situacion del espanol y portugues europeos. Este estudio pretende dar cuenta de la evolucion de las formas de tratamiento en la Peninsula Iberica en los ultimos cien anos, con un especial enfasis en el fenomeno de nivelacion que se atestigua en la zona suroccidental. De forma pionera, se expone el comportamiento geolinguistico, sociolinguistico y gramatical de dicha nivelacion, aplicando metodos estadisticos y los programas de cartografia mas actuales. Todo ello, auspiciado por una metodologia innovadora y un corpus cuantitativo que refleja la estrecha relacion que guardan el espanol y el portugues, no solo en la cortesia, sino a nivel linguistico, derivando en un Sprachbund que tiene como foco el suroccidente de la Peninsula Iberica.

This volume combines psycholinguistic experiments with typological investigations in order to provide a comprehensive exploration of the linguistic structure of verb-number agreement in bilingual speakers, with a particular focus on the Turkish language. It takes as its starting point the question of which linguistic structures pose difficulties for bilingual speakers, and then proceeds to evaluate the question by using the interface phenomenon of optional verb number agreement. In doing so, this volume investigates how the bilingual mind handles grammatical structures that demand high processing sources, working towards a processing-based linguistic framework for the bilingual mind. Le present ouvrage se consacre a la question de la definition lexicographique des unites lexicales adjectivales, a travers l'analyse de plus de 80 adjectifs du francais et de leurs definitions et la proposition subsequente d'un modele de paraphrasage, au niveau lexicographique, de ce type d'unite lexicale. Il se distingue en cela des etudes anterieures, qui se sont principalement focalisees sur des questions generales concernant l'adjectif, comme par exemple son positionnement par rapport au nom (anteposition ou postposition), son role d'attribut ou d'epithete, ou encore ses proprietes morphologiques, syntaxiques et semantiques. Unter dem Rahmenthema "Emotionen" fand am 15./16. April 2016 auf dem Campus Gotland der Universitat Uppsala die 12. Arbeitstagung schwedischer Germanistinnen und Germanisten "Text im Kontext" statt. Der vorliegende Band versammelt ausgewahlte Beitrage, die in ihrer Vielfalt ein aktuelles Bild der Forschungsansatze und -projekte der Germanistik in Schweden vermitteln. Das Spektrum der Beitrage reicht von der Digitalisierung von Stammbuchern aus funf Jahrhunderten bis zur Analyse von Metonymien in den Medien, von Fragen des transkulturellen Erzahlens bis zu neuen Formen der Literatur im Zeitalter der Digitalisierung. Eine Untersuchung des Zusammenhangs von metasprachlichem Wissen und Grammatikkenntnissen bei schwedischen Deutschschulern rundet den Band ab. Der Band belegt, dass der Begriff der "Emotionen" sich als geeigneter Ausgangspunkt fur den Dialog von Literaturwissenschaft und Sprachwissenschaft erweist; als verbindende Elemente fungieren vor allem kulturwissenschaftliche Ansatze.

Das Buch thematisiert die lexikalischen und morphosyntaktischen Eigenschaften pradikativer Nomina sowie des Kopulalexems im Polnischen und Russischen. Im Mittelpunkt stehen die Formvariationen an den Pradikativen: Nominativ vs. Instrumental und Kurzform vs. Langform. Sie werden durch ein Modell ikonischer Oppositionen erklart. Der Autor unterscheidet ausserdem zwei Typen von Auxiliaren. Eine wichtige Erkenntnis der syntaktischen Analyse betrifft schliesslich das Verhaltnis von Semantik und Morphosyntax: Flexionsmarker sind nicht in jedem Fall die unmittelbaren Trager grammatischer Bedeutung.

Dieser Band vereint Beitrage aus der GAL-Sektion "Grammatik und Grammatikographie", die seit 2008 regelmassig tagt. Die Kapitel geben einen UEberblick uber aktuelle Themen in der angewandten Grammatikforschung. Sie zeigen den Einsatz und die Rolle von Korpora in der Erforschung grammatischer Konstruktionen auf, sammeln Erkenntnisse uber den Erwerb von grammatischem Wissen in Erst-, Zweit- und Fremdsprache (inklusive sprachdidaktischer Ausblicke) und eroeffnen eine Diskussion zu moeglichen Schnittstellen von Lexik und Grammatik. In diesem Kontext eroertert ein Teil der Beitrage, welche Konsequenzen die in konstruktionsgrammatischen Ansatzen postulierte Aufhebung einer klaren Dichotomie zwischen Lexikon und Grammatik fur die Woerterbuch- und Grammatikschreibung hat, beziehungsweise wie und in welchem Umfang grammatische Informationen in Referenzwerken reprasentiert werden sollten.
